Copy-paste SMS and email templates that get customers to actually leave Google reviews. Pick the right one, send it right after the job, and collect more 5-star reviews.
First time here? Read the full review strategy guide before using these templates. Need a link to send? Generate your Google review link free. Or jump straight in with Template 1 below.
SMS gets the best response rate. Keep it short, include one link, and send within 2 hours of finishing the job.
Email works well for commercial jobs, multi-stage projects, or customers you don't have a phone number for. Include the subject line and keep the body short.
Sending these templates doesn't mean much if you send them wrong. Follow these four rules:
Send within 2 hours of finishing the job. After 24 hours, your conversion rate drops by half. After 3 days, it drops further. The moment the customer is standing in their fixed kitchen looking at a job well done is the moment to ask.
Send the initial template immediately. If no review after 3 days, send Template #2 once. Never send a third message. It only pisses people off and gets you blocked. Two messages maximum.
Never send a link to your Google homepage or Google Maps listing. Use a direct review link that drops customers straight on the write-a-review form. Generate yours free in 30 seconds.
Replace every [placeholder] in the templates. "[Business Name]" and "[City]" are non-negotiable. The more personalized, the less it looks like spam. A 30-second edit turns a template into a real message.
